DIRTY B*****DS A short write up given the nature of the fixture. Monday were in two minds about this fixture going into it. It was nice to have a cup run but also the focus would always be the league. Monday were missing quite a few players who were either still injured from pre-Christmas, or had eaten too much! The opposition were an unknown and they turned up in their masses. It was clear from the start that they were here to bully Monday off the park and not to play beautiful football.

The game was unfortunately more about the 'incidents' than the goals. An elbow to the face of Stu K and a horrible studs up challenge on Si F were two of the worst and at one stage I thought that Mike the ref was going to call the fixture off.

Half time was 1-1.  Unsure on the scorers or the goals.

The 2nd half Pucklechurch made less mistakes than Monday. Both Manny and Philpott made errors at the back resulting in goals and Manny's mate had a great finish after a scramble in the box.  

MOM - Manny.  Full of running and more than made up for the mistake.
